greater satisfaction of our invaluable buyers. The Ahsiar Fashions Ltd. launched its RMG business in 1st
January 2012 at 55, Shovapur, Rajfulbaria, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
with limited resources. Implementing the perfect business strategy with honesty
the factory became one of the most trustworthy suppliers to the overseas buyers
within short period. The company managed by a team of professionals engaged in
the business for more than a decade. The company have gained immense reputation
at home and abroad. With a work force over 590 and advanced mechanized
production facilities, the company is continuously performing at the level
required to satisfy the demand of the buyer spread over EUROPE, UAE, SOUTH
AFRICA and JAPAN. Innovative business approach, dynamic vision, foresight,
sustainability, resource mobilization, quality assurance and superior services
are keys for our success and we are determine to continue with same in the
future.
We have successfully
completed several prestigious projects under partnership with excellent
satisfaction. Also we accomplice the compliance requirements of our invaluable
buyers to the best of their satisfaction.
During these years
Bangladesh in particular and the world in general has undergone political,
social and economical changes which transformed the business scenario too much
aggressive, competitive and professionally competent which the company has
achieved successfully to survive and succeed in the industry.
The company is coming
up with Knit project at 55, Shovapur, Rajfulbaria, Savar, Dhaka at capital
cost of US$ 0.2 million approximately. 0.3 Acores of land have already been
acquired. The factory mainly consisted a 02 storey(part 3 storey) building and
01 shed which is located at outside of the main building. We have started our
operation at the existing location on November, 2011.
The main production
is allocated by:-
a)Ground floor is
occupied by Security section, Electric
Sub- Station Room, Boiler section, Gas transmission room, Child care room,
Doctors room, Fabric store, Iron section, Packing section, Finishing section,
Spot removing room, HR & Compliance Office room, Inspection room &
Cutting section.
b)First floor is
occupied by Sewing section.
c)Second floor is
occupied by Sample section & Inspection room.
The
northern section of the building has different floor levels from the remainder.
It houses offices at First(1st)floor and dining at Second(2nd)
floor.
Total Factory space: 23,835 square feet.

FACTORY LOCATION
The factory is located
(approximately) 20 km north-west from Shahjalal International Airport,
Dhaka. It is only 30 minutes driving distance from the airport. Factory is
situated 0.15km west side from Dhaka-Aricha highway which is very
closed to the local office of Savar Fire Service
& Civil Defense(20 minutes walking
distance from our factory).

Factory is totally equipped and conditioned to cover
requirements for international & national Social Compliance Standard, some
features of which are as follows:
Evacuation path: We have 3
spacious stair cases for the floor and all 3 are known to each and every worker
as those gates remain open all the time for entrance & exit purpose.
Exit signs: Illuminated
lighting system has been ensured for each gate for make sure safe evacuation
during emergency.
Fire Hydrant: We have
in-house Fire Hydrant system as per ACCORD fire safety standard.
Firefighting team: We have
well trained 40 Nos of
workers fire fighter whom are certified by Bangladesh
Fire Service & Civil Defense.
Fire Extinguisher: Sufficient
amount of fire extinguishers have been placed in each area.
Fire Drill: Monthly
fire drills are initiated to enhance the knowledge of workers about fire.
Medical Facility: We have
one dedicated medical officer(MBBS doctor) & 1 high professional nurse to
provide health services to our employees. We have a central medical room at
ground floor with all necessary facilities. We have contract with nearest
hospital to provide us service if any major sickness or injuries take place.
First Aid: Adequate
number of First Aid boxes/Kits are placed at different areas of the work places
as per law.
Emergency Light: Emergency
lights are there to use in case of power failure.
Wash room & Toilet: We have
adequate number of wash room & toilet in each floor.
Emergency Telephone no: Lists
containing emergency telephone numbers such as Fire Brigade, Hospitals &
Police Stations hanged for emergency needs.
Alternative Power: 275kva-
JTD 105, sound proof canopy type China made Power generator is used in garments
unit as source for instant supply of sufficient power for smooth operation
during the power cut from national power supply grid.
Work environment: An
excellent work environment exits in the factory. Adequate ventilation &
bright electric light is provided. Music & Public
Address systems are always there inside the
factory.
Child labors: Child labor is strongly prohibited in our organization.
Day care center: The
company runs a day care center for workers children.
Weekly holiday: The
company follows the 7th day rest policy for each & every
worker.
Lady Welfare team: The
company recruited sufficient number of lady welfare officer for quick resolve
of workers grievance(if any) and they also look after the rights and benefits
of the workers. The welfare team works under the banner of Admin, HR &
Compliance.
PC team: The
company has a participation committee(PC) & the number of that committee
elected by direct general workers vote based on their choice. The teams are
ensuring workers lawful rights & they have monthly meeting with management
for open discussion about all the issue & further improvement accordingly.
Orientation training: Orientation
training program conduct regularly with evidences for all new workers with
covered Health & Safety, Machine safety as well as Fire safety.
Internal Audit: Internal
Audit conduct regular basis to check all Health & Safety issues and take corrective action according for any
non-conformity.
